Marie Curie (1867-1934).Polish Physicist & Chemist,notable for her work with her husband Pierre,studying radiation.Together they won the 1903 Nobel Prize for Physics,and Marie won alone,the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1911.She,with Pierre,is credited with the discovery of the elements Polonium and Radium. Working dangerously with radiation resulted in Marie developing and dying of cancer in 1934.
