Johnny Weissmuller (1904-1984).American Actor of Austrian/Hungarian descent.5 times Olympic Gold Medal-winning swimmer in the 1920's,and following this a successful career as a film actor,being best known as,and the best one to play, Tarzan in the 1930's & 1940's film adaptations of Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan novels.Weissmuller was the one credited with creating the infamous Tarzan yell.!
